MetLife mobile app

Problem

The UX team at Metlife was asked to create a better flow for the Provider Finder mobile interaction. The older model was awkward and left many users unable to locate providers based on location, a key selling point for a competitor. A simple enough project, but an important one for the company.

Solution

Using existing personae and research, I put together a quick flow and sitemap to get stakeholder approval, then proceeded to use the existing MetLife UI style to create the UI. Having existing styles helped tremendously, and I decided to use a full visual design to test.

I put the designs into a working prototype to test.

The result was a simpler flow, and an interface that allowed for location-based searching - which lead to greater user satisfaction.
